WYNFORD GREEN COMING SOON TO THE FLEMINGDON PARK NEIGHBOURHOOD
Wynford Green Condos is a proposed redevelopment of a 60 acre parcel of land located at Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East by Diamond Corp., Lifetime Developments and Context Development. This mixed-use development will consist of residential, retail, office and community use space situated in the Flemingdon Park neighbourhood. There will be a total of 3,887 dwelling units proposed.
The Wynford Green Redevelopment is located in Flemingdon Park which is a multicultural neighbourhood with over eighty different languages being spoken within the community. Residents here have their own non-profit legal services clinic, health centre, community information centre and a number of support programs for families, women and children. The Eglinton Crosstown LRT line will run across Eglinton Avenue and the Don Mills Crosstown station will be located underground at Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue East. Construction has already begun and the light rapid transit line is expected to commence in 2021. There will be 25 stations and stops which will link to three subway stations, 54 bus routes and GO Transit lines.
Wynford Green is located close to the Don Valley Parkway and the Charles Sauriol Conservation Area where the Don River runs through. This development is also situated near schools, shops and green space such as the Edward Gardens, the Toronto Botanical Gardens and many lush parks. The Ontario Science Centre is minutes away and the York University Glendon Campus is also located nearby. The Rosedale Golf Club, the Donalda Club, the Shops at Don Mills, the Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation, the Fairview Mall and the Bayview Village are all a short drive away.
